The US Olympic team has issued anti-pollution masks to its athletes and will leave it up to individual athletes to decide whether to wear them between events.  Due to the design they cannot be worn during the event competition.  The UK team, however has issued masks that can be worn during events.  And, of course, Chinese officials are somewhat ( Read more... )

What the heck is Amanda Beard not wearing?  Gawker dot com, via Jezebel dot com shows 25 "Olympic Hotties."  Male and female athletes in a variety of picts; some really well done, some not so much.  I'm sure Heidi will be amused, although no winter athletes are featured.

The 2008 Summer Olympics begin 3 weeks from Friday.  :-D
